Individual counseling can be beneficial if you are experiencing some common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at points in our lives such as, sadness, loss of interest, irritability, confusion, worry, anger, or if you have a mental health diagnosis of which you are already aware. Individual therapy can also be a great form of self care to promote continued positivity, growth and healthy coping skills. I have an interest and background in adjusting to life stressors, adolescence and young adulthood, parenting, ADHD, anxiety, depression, men's issues and women's issues, sexuality, and communication issues. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you enhance motivation, perspective, and joy in your life.

There are common misconceptions with couple’s counseling. First, many people feel that couple’s counseling is for when a problem arises. That is simply not true, couple’s counseling can be beneficial in early stages of relationships to build healthy communication, understanding and empathy. If you want to improve communication and cooperation, gain understanding, or increase connection, couple’s counseling is an excellent way to dedicate time and commitment to yourselves, one another and your partnership in a safe space.
Counseling services are available for all types of relationships: married, engaged, dating, LGBTQ, Polyamorous.
"We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are."

As a LMFT, my educational background and professional experience has been dominated by family work. If you are in need of building skills to reduce conflict and better manage stress, improve communication and understanding each other’s needs, family therapy may be beneficial. I also specialize in early childhood mental health (ages 2-6), which provides family work surrounding bonding and attachment, building emotional regulation skills, improving attunement and setting a strong and healthy foundation for the child(ren) in your life. Whether there is a clinical concern you have with your child, or are seeking to improve parenting skills, I value the inherent need we have to belong and seek to help families thrive.
